Live cash preflop charts: what to open, 3-bet and call at 200bb.

Most charts you'll find online are built for 100bb online 6-max. Live games play differently: stacks are usually deeper, rake is taken from the pot, and there are more players at the table. These charts are solver solutions for live cash at 200bb with rake and no ante, for an 8-handed table.

Pick a spot below. Red is a raise (or a 3-bet when someone has opened), gold is a call, and dark is a fold.

Split cells are mixed: the chart plays them more than one way. Hover or long-press a hand to see its split.

How to use them at the table

Open tight up front, wide on the button

Early seats open a narrow range of strong hands. Every seat closer to the button opens more, because fewer players are left to act behind you and you'll have position after the flop.

3-bet or fold, except in the big blind

Outside the big blind, the charts 3-bet far more than they flat. The button 3-bets about 15% of hands against a cutoff open and calls under 2%. The big blind is the exception: it's getting a good price, so it calls a lot, around 30% against a cutoff or button open.

Straddle games: everyone is shallower

A straddle doubles the blinds, so a 200bb stack plays like 100bb. Tighten your opens a little, size up, and treat the straddle like an extra big blind.

Limpers: isolate, don't over-limp

Against a limper, raise to about 4bb plus 1bb for each limper (go bigger out of position). Live limpers usually call too much, so raise good hands for value and fold the junk rather than limping along.

Drill them until they're automatic

Reading a chart once doesn't stick. In the free trainer you get dealt a spot, make the call, and see straight away what the solver does and why. Live 200bb, straddle games, deep ante games and limped pots are all in there.
